If your business emails are integrated with Gmail:
Your emails will be channelled through our server into your Gmail account so rest assured you won't ever have storage issues with us as all your mail is kept safely in your Gmail account. Please ensure 2 - step authentication and recovery email addresses are set on your respective Gmail accounts. Hashtagweb is not responsible for creating Gmail accounts or maintaining the security of your Gmail accounts.
Your storage will be dependent on your Google account - "Every Google Account starts with 15 GB of free storage that's shared across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. When you upgrade to Google One, your total storage increases to 100 GB or more depending on what plan you choose." - Taken from google.
Once the business email has been integrated into the Gmail account you will not need to keep the password unless you plan on integrating it into another Gmail account at a later stage. We do not keep any business email passwords, if you have forgotten them you would need to request us to reset your passwords. If you would like to ensure we do not have access to your passwords you will need to log in remotely to our pc to set your password. Alternatively, we can also give you access to the control panel to your server to set the password but we will not be liable for issues thereof as you will then have full access to even manipulate source files on your website. Please keep the passwords for your Gmail account safe and have the necessary password recovery options enabled.
Spamming rules will not apply to you as when you email out from your Gmail account it is using the Gmail server and the business email address is just an alias(they won't see anything Gmail related). Please respect the spamming rules of Gmail. Please ensure anyone who receives an email from you has consented to do so.
If you are using a mail client such as Outlook instead of Gmail:
You will receive 5GB Storage space at R99 per month (an additional 5GB at R49 per month valid for 2021).
If you exceed your storage space we will update you to upgrade your account but your emails will not be affected for up to 30 days of notification from us.
If you spam individuals you may affect the reputation of our server environment of which you will receive a warning. Two warnings and we will have to disable your account. If you plan on emailing anyone, please make sure they have subscribed to your mailing list and that you have proof of such. You can use platforms such as Mailchimp to manage this for you.
Our Outlook support is limited. Any software issues you may experience Between Outlook & MacBook you would need to contact Outlook or an IT Support company. We can perhaps try to assist at times. (Please make sure you join any outlook Facebook community groups for further important updates you may need to be aware of)
Our Server is hosted in South Africa and is a dedicated environment protecting your domain against abuse from other users who we are unable to monitor. In a dedicated environment, we can see who is spamming and have stricter policies in place to protect you.
The hosting fee excludes any domain renewal costs which you will be billed annually for via the payment option you choose.

If emailed or WhatsApp, our turnaround time is 2 hours from receiving your message. You are most welcome to call us for emergency situations and we will gladly assist. If you experience any delivery issues with your email please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or whatsapp us details of the Date & Time the email was sent and the To and From Email addresses.
We do have access to view email logs on our site, this does not contain the body or attachments of the email, but rather just the To, From, Date, Time & Subject line. We cannot view any of your emails as there are no emails stored on our server with the Gmail option. There is one way around this is if we had to forward your incoming mail to another email address. You can request access to your control panel if you would like to check this at any time, but you bear the risks of changing settings that come with this and additional costs if there are any issues with your account.
Setup of your business emails can be done by making an appointment with us and we will log in remotely and set it up. We prefer using anydesk.com to log in remotely and set this up for you.
Your domain is kept with your current host, who has control over which company your emails are channelled via (either ours or theirs).
If this is adjusted or is reset for any reason, your emails will stop functioning entirely.
We would need to check with them if there is an issue if we find that there is no issue on our side. We will then have to wait for them to resolve it.
Ideally, your domain should be moved over to our server with all content so that responsibility is solely with us.
